Hello Everyone,
I would like to start with Introducing myself, I am Siddharth Nannore, and am pursuing New Zealand Diploma in Electrical Engineering at Manukau Institute of Technology (Auckland, NZ).
As for the Engineering Project that I am taking this semester, I am going to share my doings, learning and outcomes with "Same Day" updates. To learn more about Wireless Networks, please follow the Wikipedia Link for a rich and in depth topic coverage.
We are going to survey a number of MIT buildings, focusing on Wireless Network and running several tests using Ekahau Site Survey tool and dedicated usb NIC-300. More information about Ekahau Site Survey tool can be found at Official Website and Wikipedia.
As even for myself it's the first experience therefore I couldn't write much about it, but I'm sure that as we progress, we'll learn new things about nature of Wireless and modern challenges in a Wireless Network and gain valuable experience and knowledge which I'll be sharing with you all :)
We are working in a team of two and my teammate is Samisoni-Hingano Tuipulotu or simply "Sam".
I am very thankful to my Lecturer Mr. Hervè Carpentier (Senior Lecturer at MIT) for giving me a wonderful opportunity to gain a real life Project Experience.
And to Paulo Q (Infrastructure Engineer for ICTS, MIT) for providing us required equipment and information.
